Chris Edwards is a relocated Texan with a background in the energy industry. Following the 2020 downturn, he wanted to pursue a different opportunity and purchased Rainbow with his wife, April. Chris was very attracted to Rainbow because of it’s long history in the Vestavia Hills community. He has enjoyed learning all about paint. Chris has a passion for cars and is always on the hunt for the perfect classic car to restore.
April Edwards
Owner
April is a native of Pennsylvania and graduate of Penn State University. She worked as an engineer in her family business for 20 years before buying Rainbow with her husband Chris. April is focused on bringing high quality and unique products to the Birmingham market. “Since moving to Birmingham in 2020, I have found a real stylishness to the homes and décor. I want to serve the home owners and design professionals here by offering them the best products and service I possibly can.”
Jenifer Watts
Designer
Backed by 24 years of experience in Interior Design, Jenifer Watts, helps each client feel confident in their selection of paint, wallpaper, and window treatments. She is passionate about helping each client bring their design inspiration to life, while keeping them in budget and on time. Several years of working directly with Home Builders and Commercial Contractors gives her a unique perspective into the construction side of each project that helps to achieve an end result that makes everyone happy. In her spare time Jenifer loves to restore old furniture, paint signs, and bake too. If you’ve seen it on Pinterest she has probably tried it! Not always with success, but always learning something in the process.

Justin is an optimistic and enthusiastic sales professional with over 16 years of experience. His in-depth knowledge of product allows him to exceed customers’ expectations. When he is not working, he enjoys fishing with friends and family.
Melody Davidson
Designer
Melody Davidson, ASID Allied, comes from a long background of Interior Design and Remodeling in Kansas City Metro. After recently returning home to Birmingham, she soon missed the design world and found a home working with the Rainbow team. Helping homeowners select interior colors, wallpapers and all the finish selections that are necessary when building new or remodeling existing homes is one of her passions. Because her first love is window treatments, particularly drapery, she enjoys working with clients to dress their windows. Once all the walls and windows are taken care of, she can also find the perfect area rug in our extensive Jaipur Living Collection for your room.
